Head of the Republican Forensic Medical Bureau under the DPR Ministry of Health Dmitry Kalashnikov handed over genetic passports to relatives of missing persons in Donetsk today, on January 16. In an interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, he noted that it had become possible to open and organize the work of a relevant laboratory thanks to the assistance of the Russian Federation.
“We should have established such a laboratory a long time ago, but, unfortunately, it could not have happened in the days of Ukraine. These days, in times of war, we were able to open it. The Russian Federation provides us with great assistance. Our employees have been trained in Moscow and received international certificates. The Red Cross Committee also provides assistance,” Dmitry Kalashnikov said.
