The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic reports violations of Donbass citizens’ rights by the Ukrainian party, including the right to life, safety, security of person, and the freedom of movement.
Thus, on January 9, as a result of hostilities in the Novoazovsky district, a Republic’s military born in 1974 suffered a penetrating wound of the abdominal cavity.
On January 10, Republic’s military born in 1995 and 1987 suffered wounds as a result of hostilities in the Novoazovsky district.
Over the past year, 224 persons received injuries and trauma of varying severity as a result of the armed aggression on the part of Ukraine, including 150 military personnel of the Republic, 24 female civilians, 45 male civilians and 5 minors.
Since the beginning of 2020, in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic there have been killed 3 military personnel.
Over the past year, as a result of armed aggression on the part of Ukraine there were killed 166 persons, including 157 military personnel of the Republic, 6 female civilians and 3 male civilians.
4,898 persons, including 81 children, have perished in the Donetsk People’s Republic since the outset of the armed conflict.
