The authorities of Ukraine do not cease attempts to destabilize the situation in Donbass and jeopardize all existing agreements reached in the course of negotiations, DPR PMD official representative Rinat Aigistov stated at the daily briefing today, on January 19.
“According to the available data, the criminal military authorities with the tacit consent of Zelensky are not desisting from their efforts to destabilize the situation in Donbass with a view to gain the support of the European community. In this regard, we expect intensification of provocative shelling by Ukrainian armed formations along the entire contact line from January 20 to January 24 during the planned visit of the Ukrainian delegation under the leadership of the Ukrainian Defense Minister Zagorodnyuk to Brussels (Belgium) to participate in a joint meeting of the European Parliament on security and defense issues in Europe. By such actions, the Ukrainian party jeopardizes all operating agreements reached in the course of extensive diplomatic negotiations,” he said.
