Head of the DPR Representative Center in Turin (Italy) Maurizio Marrone together with the Sovereign Order of Malta in Madesimo (Lombardy) organized a meeting of like-minded associates supporting residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, the DPR Foreign Affairs Ministry reports.
The event, which was dedicated to the celebration of the the Baptism of Our Lord, took place in one of the Orthodox churches of the Madesimo commune and brought together dozens of caring residents of Italy.
“I sincerely thank Father Ambrogio and Father Alexei, as well as everyone present, for the non-indifference to the events currently taking place in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. Donbass residents are struggling towards peace and prosperity, and it is a great honor for all of us to assist them in this noble cause,” Maurizio Marrone said.
The event closed with a feast rite and a consecration ceremony in the church.
