On Monday of January 27, the Khartsyzsk City Council hosted a round table discussion on the topic “Formation and determination of promising vectors of cooperation and interaction on youth policy under the integration program of Donbass and the Russian Federation.” According to the correspondent of the DPR Official Website, the visit of the Russian delegation took place with the assistance of the Russian Center.
Thus, the meeting was attended by Vitaly Sheremetyev, the Chairman of the Central Board of the Naslediye [Heritage] All-Russian Public Youth Patriotic Organization “Russian Union of Afghanistan Veterans”, Denis Kashirin, the Chairman of the Board of the Volgograd and Astrakhan Regional Youth Public Organizations to commemorate the memory of fallen defenders of the Homeland, Maya Pirogova, Director of the State Information Policy Department of the DPR Information Ministry, and representatives of city councils, public and youth organizations of the Republic.
In the course of the event, its participants discussed the issues of integration, patriotic education of youth, formation of individual information culture and civic consciousness, media impact on modern society and ways to counter propaganda and preserve the historical heritage of the state and the possibility of creating platforms for interaction, exchange of experience and professional development.
According to Vitaly Sheremetyev, the Chairman of the Central Board of Naslediye, a large number of integration activities were carried out and many joint projects were implemented with the support of the Russian Center over the past year.
“At the moment, we plan to work jointly with various organizations in Khartsyzsk, hold a number of both republican and all-Russian events, establish diverse platforms, exchange ideas, initiatives and line up productive work,” said Vitaliy Sheremetyev.
For his part, Denis Kashirin, the Chairman of the Board of the Volgograd and Astrakhan Regional Youth Public Organizations to commemorate the memory of fallen defenders of the Homeland, noted that one of the visit’s missions was to become familiar with the structure of work on patriotic education of young people in the Donetsk People’s Republic, joint activities and exchange of experience.
As noted by Maya Pirogova, Director of the State Information Policy Department of the DPR Information Ministry, “Donbass is at the forefront of the information war waged against the Russian people. And it is of primary importance to bend every effort in Donbass and Russia to make sure that our children know the history of the state and honor the feat accomplished by their people.”
