Over the past week, Ukrainian militants engaged twenty-two populated localities of the Republic, having violated the ceasefire eighty-four times, Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on February 21.
“The enemy again violated the ceasefire, having fired one hundred and six mortar shells, two hundred and thirty-six rounds of various types on the territory of the Republic, and carried out fifty-four attacks with IFVs. Small arms, including sniper weapons, were also actively used,” Colonel Basurin stated.
As a result of the AFU attacks, nineteen buildings and civil infrastructure facilities are damaged in Donetsk, Zaytsevo, Signalnoye, Yasnoye, Dolomitnoye and Staromikhaylovka. Also, a citizen from the village of Trudovskaya Mine suffered wounds in the back and upper extremities as result of shelling.
