The armed formations of Ukraine opened fire at populated localities of the Republic eight times over the past 24 hours, official representative of the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported at the briefing on February 17.
“On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 58th brigade engaged grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at the area of Zaitsevo locality.
On the Donetsk front, forces of the 92nd and 28th brigades engaged 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms at the localities of Zhabichevo, Alexandrovka and the Donetsk Airport area.
Information on the damage caused to civil infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.
All the evidence of the localities’ having been shelled have been provided to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic, along with the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office for criminal proceedings to be initiated against AFU brigade commanders Kokorev, Marchenko and Kashchenko,” Oleg Nikitin said.
