The armed formations of Ukraine opened fire at populated localities of the Republic ten times over the past 24 hours, official representative of the DPR PMD reported at the briefing in Donetsk on March 7.
“On the Gorlovka front, militants of the 59th brigade engaged 120mm and 82mm mortars, IFV guns, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire at south Zaitsevo.
On the Donetsk front, from the positions of the 128th, 92nd and 28th brigades there were engaged 82mm mortars and grenade launchers of various systems to fire at Kashtanovoye, Zhabichevo and the suburbs of Donetsk (the Volvo Center).
On the Mariupol front, militants of the 10th brigade engaged IFV guns and heavy machine guns to fire at Staromikhailovka, Petrovskoye, and Novolaspa.
Neither civilian casualties nor damage to civil infrastructure have been reported.
All the evidence of the localities’ having been shelled have been provided to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic, along with the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to be attached to the criminal proceedings initiated against AFU brigade commanders Goncharuk, Kokorev, Marchenko, Zubanich, and Shapovalov.
The Ukrainian occupants continue attempts to thwart the process of peaceful settlement of the Donbass conflict, with impunity deploying military equipment to carry out provocations in Bogdanovka. With a view to conceal their criminal acts from the general public and OSCE monitors, the AFU resort to Bukovel-AD jamming stations of the 502nd EW battalion’s mobile group to suppress the Mission UAVs’ control signals. The AFU units’ resorting to electronic warfare systems is evidenced by numerous complaints from local residents to civil and military administration representatives, as well as to the OSCE and JCCC staff regarding interference with TV & radio broadcasting and cellular communications.
We are grateful to concerned citizens who are not afraid to openly speak about the crimes committed by Kiev militants,” the report says.
