The enemy purposefully targets civil infrastructure and civilians, the press service of the DPR PMD reports.
Militants of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade engaged a Stugna-P anti-tank missile system to fire on a vehicle, which, according to the schedule, provides planned water supply to Sakhanka civilians.
In violation of international humanitarian law, the shelling was carried out while civilians were receiving water. As a result of the shelling, one of the Republic’s defenders was killed, another one was seriously wounded, and a village resident suffered a concussion.
Also, according to the information available, a shooting team of the Mariupol Broadcasting Company was present at the positions of the Ukrainian occupants during the shelling.
Material evidence of the shelling will be provided to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic, along with the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office, to be attached to the criminal proceedings initiated against AFU brigade commander Zubanich.
We urge the OSCE to record this blatant case and provide support in preventing Ukraine’s further aggression against the population of Donbass.
