Today, on March 17, the DPR Youth Parliament held a plenary meeting, where they discussed the strategy of the DPR Youth Parliament for forming proposals aimed at developing the youth policy for 2020, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
Chairman of the DPR People’s Council Vladimir Bidyovka assessed the activities of young parliamentarians during his speech.
“The DPR Youth Parliament has proved to be not only an effective consultative and advisory agency, but also an organization of young people involved in public and political life of our society. Young parliamentarians make a significant contribution to the work with the youth, are engaged in patriotic education and preservation of historical memory together with the deputies of the DPR People’s Council, you pay attention to most socially vulnerable categories of citizens. But you are mainly focused on developing proposals to improve the legal field of our young state. The sphere of youth policy also does not go unaddressed,” Vladimir Bidyovka noted.
Chairman of the DPR Youth Parliament Vladislav Pogorely spoke about the activities of parliamentarians in 2019 and announced plans for 2020.
“In 2019, members of the Youth Parliament used different methods of interaction with young people and the older generation, held field meetings in cities, towns and districts, conducted cultural, patriotic and charity events. They also organized projects of interest for the youth and worked in the legislative sphere. Based on the abovementioned I consider it necessary to strengthen and partially reconsider the work of the whole parliament. The main activity in 2020 will be broken down into several areas. An important innovation of this year will be strategic work. We have elaborated a draft strategy of the DPR Youth Parliament for forming proposals aimed at developing the DPR youth policy for 2020, which is the main internal document of the Parliament to form the legislative work plan for 2020. It is noteworthy that the package of proposals is being elaborated in cooperation with the People’s Council, the DPR Government and other subjects of the state youth policy implementation,” Vladislav Pogorely explained.
People’s Council MP and head of the Young Republic Public Organization Kirill Makarov stressed that today’s strategy of the DPR Youth Parliament for the formation of proposals aimed at developing the DPR youth policy for 2020 had been announced, and expressed confidence that it would be supported by all public authorities and local governments.
