Head of the Makeyevka City Council took part in activities in Kerch

Head of the Makeyevka City Council Sergei Goloshchapov is now on a working visit to the Republic of Crimea, where he took part in a number of events.

As part of activities dedicated to the Year of the Great Victory, announced by Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, an enormous flag — the Victory Banner — was unfolded in Kerch, which is the twin city of Makeyevka, today, on March 18.

The joint commemorative event was initiated by Sergey Goloshchapov with the support of the Kerch City Council Head, Sergey Borozdin, since this action symbolizes the unity of the Russian people.

Also, Sergey Borozdin, Sergey Goloshchapov and Head of the Municipal Entity of the Kerch City District Olga Solodilova planted Makeyevka pines in the park near the Kerch City Council building.

In addition to that, Sergey Goloshchapov took part in planting the Garden of Memory near the Marine Station of Kerch. The event was also dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory.
