Over the past week, Ukrainian militants engaged twenty-nine populated localities of the Republic, having violated the ceasefire one hundred and thirty-nine times, Deputy Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported on March 20 during the briefing in Donets.
The enemy again violated the ceasefire, having fired twenty-eight 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, one hundred and eleven 120mm and 82mm mortar shells and eighty-five rounds with various rocket launchers on the Republic’s territory. As a result of the attacks, one civilian died, six injured, including a child born 2006. Also, losses are reported among military personnel: one killed, one wounded.
Thirty-seven houses and civil infrastructure facilities are damaged in Gorlovka, Vasilyevka, Signalnoye, Zhabichevo, Sergeyevka, Spartak, Yasnoye, Aleksandrovka, Staromikhaylovka, the villages of Trudovskaya Mine (Donetsk) and Gagarin Mine (Gorlovka).
“Thanks to the skillful and coherent actions of our air defense units and EW crews of the Mantia-ARP Unified Integrated Defense System, three enemy drones of Skywalker, Phantom and Mavic models were taken out over the territory of the Republic. Artillery and mortar firing on populated localities of the Republic was being adjusted with them. Data from the UAV memory drives is being studied by our specialists,” Colonel Basurin noted.
All information with attached photo and video content has been sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic, as well as to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to initiate criminal proceedings against, brigade commanders Kaschenko, Marchenko, Mishanchuk, Kokorev, Shapovalov, Goncharuk and Zubanich, the war criminals who give orders to attack Republic localities.
