Today, on March 28, parliamentarians considered a draft Law On Amendments to Article 275 of the DPR Criminal Code. It was elaborated by People’s Council deputy and chairperson of the Committee for Criminal and Administrative Legislation Elena Shishkina, the press service of the DPR People’s Council reports.
Chairman of the specialized committee told about the amendments suggested.
“The draft Law On Amendments to Article 275 of the DPR Criminal Code suggests strengthening liabilities for violating sanitary and epidemiological rules when they entail a threat of mass disease or poisoning of people, by tightening the sanctions established by Article 275 of the DPR Criminal Code,” Elena Shishkina reported.
Given the prevalence of the new coronavirus infection in the world, as well as the fact that the draft law is aimed at improving the mechanisms of protecting DPR citizens from the threat of infectious diseases spread, MPs voted for its adoption in two readings.
