As of March 31, no cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the territory of the Republic, DPR Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko reported.

The epidemiological situation in the Donetsk People’s Republic is stable. A total of 8878 patients are under observation. Of them, 131 people are at in-patient facilities, while 8747 people are undergoing self-isolation at home (of them 8178 people crossed the state border of the Republic between March 27 and 30).

“I would like to draw your attention to the need to strictly follow all the rules of in-home self-isolation. Remember that self-isolation is no vacation, when you can go visiting, do picnics, etc. It means that a person is self-isolated and limits himself or herself from spreading a possible infection. We are now working in a proactive mode, we must set a barrier against this infection. Be responsible, please!” the Minister of Health called on the citizens.

We remind that the Ministry of Health has a hotline working in the Republic, you can contact it by calling a shot number 277 via Phoenix mobile communications provider or by landline phone (062) 303-27-72.

In case of first signs of any acute respiratory viral disease (body temperature, coughing, rhinorrhea, especially labored breathing) you must immediately call a health worker, who will come home to you. Depending on the symptoms, the doctor will decide whether to leave the patient for home treatment or hospitalize. Remember, self-medication can harm your health.
