A state of emergency has been introduced in some countries in response to the spread of coronavirus infection. DPR People’s Council deputy Vladislav Berdichevsky spoke about whether such a scenario is needed to be implemented in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

“We have certain strategic plans. Only two cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the Republic, there are persons under medical supervision, but there is no need to introduce an emergency regime.

All structures and agencies of the Republic have prepared to a satisfactory extent, various action plans and provisions for countering the coronavirus infection spread have been elaborated, which will be implemented as necessary,” Vladislav Berdichevsky said.
