Social facilities (hostels, dispensaries, therapeutic facilities) are operating in the Donetsk People’s Republic to provide assistance to the citizens affected by the armed aggression on Ukraine’s part.
In accordance with the Decree of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic No. 137 of 04.24.2018, the settlement of injured citizens falls within the competence of city and district territorial commissions, supervised by the Republican Commission for Affected Citizens Resettlement, headed by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Currently, in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic there are 958 free settlement places for citizens belonging the stated category.
As will be recalled, 7,072 persons, including 1,621 children, have been affected by the armed conflict since the outbreak of hostilities in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
65 social facilities are open in the territory of the Republic. Of these, 55 are functioning and 10 remain in reserve.
2,161 persons, including 394 children, are accommodated in social facilities of the Donetsk People’s Republic, and 4,911 persons, including 1,227 children, are accommodated in residential buildings.
