The crimes committed on the Maidan in 2014, after 6 years, finally received international exposure. The UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission to Ukraine recommends to repeal the amnesty law for Maidan activists to investigate the crimes of 2013-2014, and also refers to the lack of progress in the investigation of the murders of at least 43 persons, Chairman of the Svobodny Donbass PM and Deputy Сhairman of the DPR People’s Council Committee on Criminal and Administrative Legislation Vladimir Medvedev stated.
“The time has arrived when it is beneficial for the West to expose at least part of the truth about what happened during the Kiev coup in 2014. Now many political figures, including Ukraine’s ex-president Pyotr Poroshenko, will have to be held accountable for their crimes.
There is no reason to indulge a vain hope of the morality and ethics of the collective West. In the time when the coronavirus pandemic is raging, on the verge of the global economic crisis, any resource is of great value. Obviously, Western partners are bringing Ukraine to a default in order to profit from its assets, and the blame will be placed with Zelensky and his team. To this end, the process of the Kiev authorities’ de-legitimization has been initiated. First, the crimes by the Maidan activists will be admitted, then they will recognize the Maidan as a coup. And then it will turn out that there is no legitimate authority in Ukraine, since Zelensky is the successor of Poroshenko, who came to power illegally. Further on, Ukraine’s remains will be plundered with the help of Soros, the IMF and other international corporations, and then left behind. The adventurous policy of “servants of the people” will turn into a terrible disaster for Ukrainians,” Vladimir Medvedev said.
