According to the DPR PM’s intelligence, there are activities going on in the responsibility zone of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade to reinforce their positions and build up military equipment close to the line of contact, reads the urgent statement from a DPR PM spokesman.
“Up to 15 armored combat vehicles such as BMP and MT-LB within the brigade were redeployed last week. To conceal their activities near the Petrovskoye disengagement area No. 3, Ukrainian militants resort to various methods to thwart international monitors. Previously, AFU fighters made do with refusing OSCE representatives access into their responsibility zone and setting dry grass on fire.
Today, on April 9, from positions of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade near Bogdanovka, Ukrainian militants opened sporadic fire with large-caliber machine guns at an OSCE drone. The unmanned aerial vehicle was downed by the firing.
These criminal actions once again showed cynicism and persistence of Ukrainian militants, whom morality and humanism mean nothing. We call on international monitors to register the case of another war crime committed by Ukraine’s armed formations, make sure an investigation is conducted and those guilty are punished,” the DPR PMD spokesman said.
