Given that a number of restrictions have been imposed due to the high alert regime in the Republic, some areas of business are experiencing certain challenges. In April 9, during the communication with activists of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement, which was conducted via videoconferencing, Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin spoke about the measures that will be taken to support entrepreneurs.
“Additional measures in this matter are absolutely necessary, and I would also like to hear from mayors their suggestions. As for the things that will be implemented in the coming days after all the stages of approval, we want to remove the need to pay rent during this difficult period. Owners of premises will be compensated for that at the expense of the state, for example, by reducing the taxes. This option is already at the final stage of elaboration. This will help those shops, cafes, restaurants etc. that work in rented premises.
For such measures, I am waiting for suggestions from the mayors of cities, towns and districts. Let us work out a common position and help our entrepreneurs, who are now having a hard time working,” Denis Pushilin said.
