The situation in Makeyevka is fully under control for the duration of the high alert regime, Mayor of the city Sergey Goloschapov claimed on April 14.
“One thing is for sure: the situation is controllable and manageable. The cases have been registered, contacts with other people are fully monitored.
We have formed an operational headquarters in the city to counteract the infection’s spread. We are working jointly with carriers, chain stores, all understand and cooperate in solving the global problem of today,” Sergey Goloschapov said.
The Mayor of Makeyevka especially focused on the issues of public awareness and Ukrainian fakes, which cannot be trusted.
“We have official websites of the Head of the Republic, mayors of cities and others. I recommend that everyone use only reliable information,” he emphasized.
