The DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations is conducting drills for deploying a medical camp in Donetsk, the Budyonnovsky District. The main purpose of the drills is to practice the possibility of rapid and effective delivery of medical aid to victims of emergency situations, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports today, on April 23.

The Minister for Emergency Situations, General Lieutenant of the Civil Defense Service Alexey Kostrubitsky and Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko visited the event.

“Today we have conducted drills in deploying a medical camp. It is the first time we have deployed such a hospital in the republic. I am confident that it will become a powerful backup for our medicine anywhere in the Republic. I am very grateful to the personnel. We deployed the hospital within 24 hours, the work was hard, but the men did it,” Alexey Kostrubitsky commented.

It should be noted that the medical camp is multi-purpose and can administer qualified medical aid of various types and nature depending on the medical tactical situation or type of emergency danger.

“This is the first time we are participating in such a large-scale training exercise in deploying a medical camp designed to administer aid in a variety of situations. These drills have shown that we are ready for any challenges,” Olga Dolgoshapko emphasized.

The medical camp can receive over 100 patients at a time. The hospital has diagnostic&treatment and administrative&maintenance zones, which can operate 24 hours a day to provide necessary medical aid.
