The Investigations Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated and is investigating 6 criminal cases against commander of the 58th AFU separate motorized infantry brigade D.V. Kaschenko, commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade M.M. Marchenko, commander of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade O.N. Goncharuk, commander of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade V.I. Zubanich and commander of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade A.V. Mishanchuk.
The commanders and their subordinates engaged several DPR populated localities between April 24 and 26. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against them for committing terrorist acts under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR criminal code.
On April 24, the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, on the orders of commander D.V. Kaschenko, opened fire on the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka with small arms, because of which the house at 25 Rudneva Street, the village of Zaytsevo, caught fire. Windows in apartment 12 at 8 Shkolny Lane, the village of Golmovsky, were damaged, as well as windows in apartment 15 at 82 Artilleristov Street, the village of Gagarin Mine.
On April 25, forces of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade, on the orders of commander V.I. Zubanich, opened fire on the village of Kominternovo, Novoazovsky district, with mortars and small arms, because of which the house at 38 Kirova Street caught fire and the roof of the house at 27 Akhmatovoy Street was damaged.
On the same day, military personnel of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade, on the orders of commander A.V. Mishanchuk, opened fire on the village of Kashtanovy, Yasinovatsky district, with small arms. Windows in the house at 5 Lesnaya Polyana Street were damaged.
On April 25 and 26, militants of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, on the orders of commander M.M. Marchenko, launched an attack on the city of Donetsk with mortars and small arms. The house at 21 Narofominskaya Street, Petrovsky district, caught fire. The houses at 7, 58, 60 Oktyabrskaya Street and the building at 41 Zhukovskogo Street, the village Staromikhaylovka, Kirovsky district, were damaged.
On April 26, military personnel of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade, on the orders of commander O.N. Goncharuk, shelled Dokuchayevsk with mortars. Windows in the entrance of the apartment building at 7 Polevaya Street were damaged, as well as windows in apartments 54 and 55 at 1 Polevaya Street, apartment 55 at 3 Polevaya Street.
Case officers of the General Prosecutor’s Office are currently conducting the necessary investigative activities.
