At the instruction of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Ministry of Health with the lead of the Ministry of Emergency Situations jointly conducts scheduled exercises within the Unified State System for Emergency Management, DPR Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko announced on April 28.
“Medical workers and healthcare institutions participate in the exercise mainly to hone their skills in aiding the population in the event of proliferation of the infection.
Medical workers of various specialties also take part in the drills for medical camps deployment that the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations conducts. These activities are preplanned. Specialists from the Republic’s healthcare institutions have repeatedly taken part in such drills and showed good results.
Healthcare institutions of the Republic operate in a normal mode, these activities will not affect the quality of medical services,” Olga Dolgoshapko stated.
