The Candle of Memory annual event took place on Lenin Square in Donetsk on May 9, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
Activists of the Young Republic Public Organization formed the image of an Order of Patriotic War from lit lamps in the center of Donetsk as part of the event.
It took over 3000 lit lamps to create the image of the Order. The event was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
