Given the escalation of the situation at the line of contact due to hostilities being stepped up by Ukraine, I have checked the operation of the area defense staff, the systems of state and military administration have been set ready to function in conditions of escalation of the combat situation.
In accordance with my instructions, People’s Militia units have switched to the Full Alert Status and stand ready to perform combat tasks.
Thus, the Republic is ready to adequately respond to any aggressive actions from the Ukrainian side.
The Chief of the People’s Militia Directorate has been instructed not to reduce the defense readiness alert of the units and to act in accordance with the instructions issued previously, which are aimed at preventing civilian casualties and destruction of social infrastructure, in case the Republic’s territory is attacked.
