According to the DPR PMD’s press service, Ukrainian military from the 54th and 58th brigades shelled Krutaya Balka and the village of Mine 6/7, Gorlovka, with 120mm and 82mm mortars on May 23, having fired a total of 20 shells at civilian objects.
In both cases, DPR defenders identified in a timely manner the locations from which our territory was being shelled, as well as the command posts that guided the shelling. Our side adequately and immediately counteracted the said objects of the armed forces of Ukraine. The losses of the enemy are being specified.
Unfortunately, our defender suffered fatal wounds when evacuating civilians in Krutya Balka from under the militants’ shelling. We offer our sincere condolences to the relatives and family of the fallen soldier.
