On June 1, the International Children’s Day, Donetsk held an annual event called Angels, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
Traditionally on the bridge in Scherbakov Park, the citizens of the DPR capital launched into the sky more than a thousand sky lanterns in the memory of Donbass children who were killed by shells fired by the armed forces of Ukraine. The event was organized by the Young Republic Public Organization.
Along with the capital, other towns and districts of the Republic joined this year’s Angels.
Recall that the Angels event was first held in 2017. About 5,000 residents and guests of the capital took part in it then.
