It has been decided to publish the record of the Contact Group’s meeting that took place on June 10 and 15, DPR Plenipotentiary Representative and Minister of Foreign Affairs Natalya Nikonorova stated.
“The discrepancy between the statements of the Ukrainian authorities on the media and their real behavior at the Minsk venue becomes more and more obvious. The Ukrainian side is trying to create a beautiful illusion of its full and unconditional commitment to the Minsk Agreements, but the situation is different in reality.
We decided to publish the record of the Contact Group’s meeting held by videoconferencing on June 10 and 15. We draw special attention to the positions of the Ukrainian representatives with regard to the Complex of Measures approved by the UN Security Council, their persistent unwillingness to engage in a substantive dialogue on the most pressing issues, including humanitarian corridors at checkpoints, their negligence not only to previously recorded commitments from the previous meetings, but also to their own promises.
This protocol was sent in due course through the OSCE technical center to all the members of the negotiation process. We have now received this protocol signed by one of the mediators, the Russian Federation. This reaction obviously means that the Russian representatives agree with our view of the meeting,” Nikonorova noted.
The Foreign Minister asked not only the media and public to get acquainted with the record of the meeting, but also representatives of the guarantor countries for the Minsk Agreements. According to her, many positions of the Ukrainian side should give rise to reasonable questions and further investigations, including at the level of the Norman Four states.
