Ukrainian militants engaged nine populated localities of the Republic this week, having violated the ceasefire 34 times, spokesman for the DPR PMD Colonel Eduard Basurin reported at the briefing on June 26.

“The enemy once again broke the truce, having fired 190 items of ammunition with weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements on the territory of the Republic, including 12 artillery shells, 144 mortar shells of 120mm and 82mm calibers and 46 rounds with rocket launchers. A man born 1975 died, another man born 1973 was wounded. Eight houses were damaged in Aleksandrovka, the village of Trudovskaya Mine in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and the village of Gagarin Mine in Gorlovka.

Our defenders armed with weapons not prohibited by the Minsk Agreements responded adequately and made enemy units comply with the ceasefire regime. The losses of the armed forces of Ukraine this week were as follows: four militants killed, ten wounded, a BMP with fleet number 321 and two firing-points of mortar crews destroyed.

All information with photos and videos has been sent to representatives of international organizations based in the Republic and also to the Prosecutor General’s Office for initiation of criminal cases against war criminals-brigade commanders who give orders to open fire on populated localities of the Republic: Lutsenko, Maistrenko, Gudz, Palas and Zubanich.
