The enemy violated the ceasefire regime seven times for the past 24 hours, spokesman for the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported during the briefing in Donetsk on July 2.
On the Donetsk front, the 57th brigade during the day fired over 50 mortar shells of 120mm and 82mm calibers at the environs of the airport and the village of Oktyabrskaya Mine. They were firing at those areas also with BMPs, anti-tank and automatic rocket launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
The enemy, despite the fact that the OSCE SMM requested a ceasefire period, kept firing chaotically at those areas of the Republic to hold the Mission’s staff off the cameras destroyed from the Ukrainian side. The signal from the OSCE’s cameras disappeared on the evening of June 30, when the 57th brigade fired three consecutive guided missiles at the shafts of the Oktyabrskaya Mine, where the OSCE placed their surveillance equipment.
Information on the cases of firing by the armed forces of Ukraine was sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic, as well as to the Prosecutor General’s Office for inclusion in criminal proceedings initiated against brigade commander Mishanchuk for his crimes.
