On July 7, a medical worker from Komsomolskoye was posthumously awarded a Badge For the Merits to the Republic. On the instructions from Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko handed the award over to the son of emergency medical technician Vasily Kosse, who died from COVID-19, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
“Our doctors have not left their jobs in this difficult epidemiological situation, our ambulance crews sacrifice their lives and go to all the hot spots, take the wounded from under barrages of fire.
Special attention should be paid to ambulance attendants, because a person’s survival depends on their promptness and professionalism. I want to bow low to all ambulance workers for their invaluable work,” Olga Dolgoshapko said.
The Minister presented the award to Vasily Kosse’s son, wished him good health and promised to give the young man help he needs.
