В ходе брифинга 4 марта начальник пресс-службы УНМ ДНР, майор Даниил Безсонов сообщил, что в связи с низким морально-психологическим состоянием боевиков ВФУ, связанным с запретом командира бригады Собко на предоставление отпусков личному составу, нахождением в зоне ООС свыше 6 месяцев, а также задержкой увольнения военнослужащих по окончании контракта в подразделениях 128-й отдельной горно-штурмовой бригады отмечается большое количество самовольно оставивших расположение части.
«Так, по имеющимся данным, только в данной бригаде за февраль дезертировали из зоны боевых действий более десяти боевиков из них пять с оружием.
Кроме того, отмечается низкая укомплектованность личным составом в рядах ВФУ, а именно на должностях, определяющих боевую готовность подразделения. Так, мужское население страны на фоне братоубийственных боевых действий старается различными способами уклониться от своего конституционного «долга», в этой связи начальником штаба сухопутных войск отдано распоряжение, согласно которому командирам подразделений необходимо организовать отбор кандидатов из числа военнослужащих женского пола на должности экипажей расчетов боевых машин. При этом указано играть на самолюбии женщин-военнослужащих, насаждая мысль о предоставлении им равных прав по опыту европейских и американских армий», — подчеркнул Даниил Безсонов.

“Thus, according to the available data, only in this brigade, over ten militants have deserted from the combat zone in February; five of them had weapons.
In addition, there is a low manning in the AFU ranks, namely in the capacities that determine the combat readiness of a unit. Thus, against the background of the fratricidal hostilities, the male population of the country is trying in various ways to evade its constitutional “duty”, and in this regard, the army chief of staff has issued an order according to which the unit commanders should organize the selection of candidates from among female military personnel for crews of combat vehicles. In this case, it is instructed to play on the self-esteem of the female military by inculcating the idea of granting them equal rights, from experience of the European and American armies,” Daniil Bezsonov stressed.
