Администрация Донецка занимается не только вопросами жилищно-коммунального хозяйства. Образовательные учреждения также входят в число муниципальных, такие как школы и детские сады. О том, как работают сегодня учебные заведения города, в интервью корреспонденту официального сайта Донецкой Народной Республики рассказал и.о. главы столичной администрации Алексей Кулемзин.
«В этом году мы будем праздновать 150 лет Донецку. И большему количеству наших школ 50–80 лет. Их здания имеют свой износ, имеют свой ресурс. Нами проводятся плановые работы. При подготовке к зиме выполняются работы по кровлям, внутреннему отоплению, оконным блокам. Все проблемы каждой школы мы прекрасно знаем и понимаем, сколько нужно средств. На сегодняшний день их в таком объеме просто нет. Но это не значит, что никто ничего не делает. Показательный пример – ремонт и открытие 116-й школы в Петровском районе, которой 80 лет. Сегодня она оснащена по последнему слову техники — пищеблок, классы и т.д.
За пять лет нам удалось сохранить всю систему образования, школы и детские сады функционируют. И сейчас мы констатируем увеличение численности детей, что очень приятно», — подытожил Алексей Кулемзин.

In an interview with a correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, acting mayor of the capital Alexey Kulemzin told about today’s performance of the educational institutions in the city.
“This year we will celebrate 150th anniversary of Donetsk. And most of our schools are between 50 and 80 years old. Their buildings have their deterioration, they have their own resource. We carry out planned work. In preparation for the winter, works on roofing, internal heating, and window units are being carried out. We know and realize all the problems of each school, how much money is needed. For today, we just have not got that much. But this does not mean that no one does anything. A case in point is the repair and opening of school 116 in Petrovsky District, which is 80 years old. Today it is equipped with the latest technology — catering, classes, etc.
For five years we have managed to preserve the entire education system, schools and kindergartens work. And now we are stating an increase in the number of children, which is really nice,” Alexey Kulemzin concluded.
