On February 5, activists from the Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s Staff for Frontline Districts delivered humanitarian aid to the residents of front-line villages of Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, Donetsk and Telmanovsky District, the press service of the organization reports.
The first to get the treatment supplies were the villagers from Krasny Partizan, where the public figures together with mayor of Yasinovataya Dmitri Shevchenko arrived last morning.
“Starting late 2017, the Donetsk Republic Public Movement, jointly with DPR People’s Council deputies, has been implementing a project to help the residents of the frontline districts. This is a targeted and local aid for those who most acutely suffer the hardships of wartime,” the mayor said.
Activists from the Staff and DPR People’s Council deputy Sergey Chuchin arrived in Yelenovka, Leninsky District, yesterday. They handed food packages over to the villagers, as well as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters so they can keep their health in check.
“It is in such moments when you see the result of your work, you realize how important it is to do the job that you put all your strength and energy in. No request from our residents should be ignored. We are one big family and it is our duty to help each other,” Sergei Chuchin emphasized during his communication with the villagers.
DPR People’s Council deputy Alexander Banakh visited the village of Tavricheskoye, Telmanovsky District, to hand food packages over to the citizens who have found themselves in hard life situations. He delivered the humanitarian aid and wished the villagers speedy peace, and promised to do everything possible to make their life better.
Blood pressure monitors, walking frames, grocery sets were also distributed among the residents of Kalininsky District of Gorlovka, where DPR People’s Council deputy Alexander Bykadorov went along with the activists.
The work of the DRPM’s Staff For Frontline Districts is ongoing.
