The AFU return to the previously abandoned positions at the forces disengagement site near Petrovskoye — DPR PMD

Ukrainian militants continue to subvert the process of peaceful settlement of the Donbass conflict, the press service of the DPR People’s Militia Directorate reports.

“To date, at the positions near the forces and assets disengagement site №3 in the Petrovskoye-Bogdanovka area, our monitors have recorded the AFU’s returning to the lines within the disengagement site and their equipping new positions.

In addition to that, Ukrainian propagandists, attempting to whitewash their offences, continue to falsely accuse our defenders of violating the ceasefire and opening fire within the disengagement grounds.

At the same time, the Joint Forces Operation Staff’s lies are particularly evident against the background of OSCE SMM’s daily official reports, which clearly state that fire at the disengagement area near Petrovskoye is always launched from its southwestern part — that is, from the positions of Ukrainian occupants, and missile impacts are detected by international monitors on the eastern edge of the site — that is, at the positions of our Republic’s defenders.

In addition to that, the Mission personnel continue to record Ukrainian armoured vehicles in Bogdanovka and in the nearby area, and our monitors have repeatedly recorded traces of Ukrainian armoured vehicles in the disengagement area, which led from the occupants’ positions near Viktorovka to hideouts in the disengagement area, which is another evidence of the current arrangements’ violations by the Ukrainian party.

Moreover, in order to create an excuse to return to their positions, Ukrainian militants have repeatedly fired from their new positions in the disengagement area onto their own positions, but already on the outskirts of Viktorovka. The firing was conducted with tracer munitions in the night time, so that the OSCE camera installed in Petrovskoye would surely record munitions’ approach from the east side towards the Ukrainian positions. The latest such fact was detected by our monitors yesterday from 7:15 to 7:30 p.m.

We urge international monitors to immediately inspect the forces and assets disengagement site №3 near Petrovskoye, record the fact of the Minsk Agreements’ violation by Ukraine and get the Ukrainian militants to implement the existing agreements on the disengagement of forces and assets,” the statement says.
