From November 5 to 9, under the guidance of the Emergencies’ Ministry of the DPR, joint activities will be held by the governing bodies and civil defense forces within the framework of a unified state system for prevention and elimination of emergency situations in line with the decision of the Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
According to Minister of Health Olga Dolgoshapko, healthcare institutions of the Republic are ready to fully accomplish the training objectives entrusted to them during the exercises.
“The primary purpose goal of the medical institutions’ participation will be to increase coherence in assisting the population in case of emergencies and technological disasters.
In the course of joint actions, the provision of medical care to citizens, conditionally injured due to various emergencies, is entrusted to ambulance teams and healthcare institutions distributed by region.
In coordination with the DPR Ministry of Emergencies, our employees will learn to deploy medical facilities in the field, providing citizens with a wide range of primary health care, as well as qualified medical assistance to residents of all ages,” Dolgoshapko said.
She also stressed that professionals of the Republic’s medical institutions had more than once participated in such trainings, always showing good results. The measures taken will not affect the quality of medical services provided to the population, medical institutions will be functioning properly.
