The enemy violated the ceasefire twice over the past day, the press office of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic reported today, on November 5.

“At 3:05 p.m., militants of the 14th AFU brigade fired ten rounds with the IFV-1 weapons on the village of Donetsky.
As a result of the shelling, a military of the LPR People’s Militia suffered mortal wounds. We express our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

At 4:10 p.m. from the positions of the 72nd AFU brigade, the vicinities of Kalinovo underwent shelling with a mounted portable antitank gun (3 grenades) and a heavy machine gun.

The invaders continue to use civilian infrastructure to deploy weapons and military equipment to engage fire on LPR localities.

Our reconnaissance registers the deployment of two infantry fighting vehicles in the residential quarters of Katerinovka and Popasnaya, along with four armored fighting vehicles in the private sector of Zolotoye. On the evening of November 2, OSCE Mission monitors recorded the shelling of the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic from the AFU positions in the Zolotoye area, which once again confirms the unwillingness of the Ukrainian military to comply with the comprehensive ceasefire agreement.

With a view to hide weapons and military equipment deployed in violation of the Minsk agreements, Kiev military continue to resort to electronic warfare stations to obstruct the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission. In the Alexandropolye area of the Popasnyansky district, we have detected a Bukovel-AD complex belonging to the 305th electronic warfare battalion of the AFU, intended for suppressing UAV’s control channels.

In order to create additional obstacles to the OSCE Mission monitors’ work, the armed formations of Ukraine have set up barbed wire fences around the Special Mission’s surveillance camera located in the area of Stanitsa Luganskaya,” the statement of the LPR People’s Militia press office reads.
