The attempt by the NSDC Secretary to refute the plan for the deportation of the people of Donbass looks pathetic and ridiculous, stated retired Donetsk citizen Vladimir Rudnitsky.
“Recently, we saw a plan for the deportation of the people of Donbass, brought by the Head of the National Security and Defense Council to the Ukrainian government’s attention. Almost 2 weeks after this document had become available in Ukraine, they decided to refute it, and most importantly – how and why?! The NSDC Secretary did it in a fearful, embarrassed manner, with one remark: “This is not true, you are lying.”
Why should these intentions be refuted if the residents of Donbass have every day got convinced of the opposite for six years now? I have absolutely no doubt that everyone in Ukrainian politics is hell-bent on getting Donbass residents to sing “Shche ne vmerla” [Ukrainian National Anthem Not Bereft Is Yet Ukraine] on every corner and communicate in Ukrainian.
All these pipe dreams of the Ukrainian government will remain just dreams. Donbass residents are neither cowards nor weaklings. Since 2014, we have been standing guard over our own values and will not allow anyone else to impose on us some other. We have parted ways with Ukraine forever. Our choice is Russia!” Vladimir Rudnitsky commented.
