The Ukrainian party is not desisting from its efforts to destabilize the situation near the Bogdanovka-Petrovskoye disengagement site, an emergency statement by the DPR People’s Militia Directorate official representative reads.

“Since the start of the day, the enemy fired on Petrovskoye 3 times (outside the disengagement area but within the 5-km zone) with 60mm mortars, IFV-1 guns, automatic grenade launchers and small arms. The total of 4 shells and 17 grenades were launched onto the locality’s area.

These violations were also documented by the DPR staff to JCCC.

Information on the destruction of civilian infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.

We note that the enemy carried out this armed provocation shortly before the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on November 27, thereby confirming the unwillingness of the Joint Forces Operation Command to abide by the Minsk agreements and take a course towards a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

We do not exclude the possibility that the pursued goal included disrupting the dismantling of fortifications as part of the completion of the disengagement the warring parties’ disengagement process in the stated area.

We urge the OSCE SMM international monitors to intervene and exercise influence on the AFU to force them to follow a stable ceasefire and the commitments undertaken,” the representative of the DPR PMD said.
