The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic reports violations of Donbass citizens’ rights by the Ukrainian party, including the right to life, security of person, and the freedom of movement, the Ombudsperson’s press office says.

Thus, on November 24, as Kominternovo of the Novoazovsky district underwent shelling, a civilian man born in 1976 received a tangential shrapnel wound to the back of the head.

From January 1 to November 28, 2019, in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, as a result of armed aggression on the part of Ukraine, 214 persons suffered wounds and injuries of varying severity, including 141 military personnel of the Republic, 24 female civilians, 44 male civilians and 5 minors.

From January 1 to November 28, 2019, as a result of armed aggression on the part of Ukraine, in the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic there were killed 160 persons, including 151 military personnel of the Republic, 6 female civilians and 3 male civilians.

As will be noted, 4,889 persons, including 81 children, have been killed in the Donetsk People’s Republic since the outset of the armed conflict.

The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic continues to receive officially confirmed information about the persons who have been injured since the beginning of the conflict.
