On Saturday of November 30, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Denis Pushilin took part in an event dedicated to summing up the summer training of the military personnel of the DPR People’s Militia.
During the meeting, officials reported on the results of the training period and set priority tasks for 2020. Then the Supreme Commander-in-Chief addressed those present.
“Fellow soldiers! Today, we summed up the results of the summer training period. Indeed, I can say that I am impressed. Everything that has been done since 2014 in terms of the formation of the People’s Militia inspires respect. It is unlikely that any of us could think before 2014 that we would have to work at such a pace, in such a mode, and now this result we achieved allows us to reliably protect our lands and our families.
We still have a lot to do, as you see that the Ukrainian leadership cannot profit off the political settlement of the conflict. We can expect of our enemy an escalation of the conflict and open armed aggression at any moment.
Along with this, the leadership of the Republic is currently paying special attention to providing social guaranties to the working military and combat veterans. All relevant draft laws have already been discussed and are being finalized. Many of them will have been implemented by the end of this year.
I want to thank you for your daily military labor and I wish you success in your combat training and daily activities,” Denis Pushilin said.
In addition, the Head of the DPR awarded distinguished fighters of the People’s Militia decorations and valuable presents.
