Deputy of the DPR People’s Council and head of the Donetsk Republic faction Valery Skorokhodov commented on Zelensky’s statement about the “lost” residents of Donbass, whom they need to deport.
“This statement caused a storm of just indignation in Donbass. It turns out that Zelensky believes he is much smarter than all of us. And his demand that we must leave our homes and the places where we were born, just because we do not support the Kiev power, goes beyond all limits!
Ukraine falls into hatred and deepest rejection if it schemes plans at the state level on deporting the people of Donbass, which are then approved by the president, and proposes establishing private prisons, in which they are going to put all undesirables.
And the establishment of “truth commissions”, which will be made up of Ukrainian nationalists having the broadest powers, is something that resembles an overt genocide. After all, such commissions, according to Kiev’s plans, will be entitled to interrogate all residents of the Republics and then determine what punishment to impose on people: who to be lustrated and who to be put in a private prison.
At the same time, in order to implement all those anti-human plans, Kiev proposes replacing the current representatives of the DPR and LPR to the talks in Minsk with their own proxies from among the “resettlers”. It is clear that those people will no longer defend the interests of the Donbass residents, but will agree to all immoral conditions put forward by Zelensky and his advisors. And if the Republics refuse to meet those terms, Ukraine threatens to build a wall on the border with us, trying to turn Donbass into a ghetto.
After all of that, they dare to wonder why the overwhelming majority of Donbass residents strongly oppose the return to Ukraine!” Valery Skorokhodov stated.
