Today, on December 10, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Donetsk People’s Republic presented programs of recovery and development of economy and social sphere for 2020, elaborated by the administrations of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yenakiyevo, Makeyevka, Yasinovataya and Khartsyzk. According to a correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the meetings of the Interdepartmental Commission will last three days.

“Today we are starting a series of events dedicated to the programs of recovery and development of economy and social sphere of cities of the Republic for the next year. During this meeting, the proposals will be presented by the administrations of cities, in whose economic life at once several industries are priority. Our task is to comprehensively cover various aspects of the city’s life. I hope we will approve all the proposals and continue to move towards the development of the economy,” DPR Minister of Economic Development Aleksey Polovyan said.

In his turn, mayor of Makeyevka Sergey Goloschapov noted that these programs are expedient, justified and effective.

“We have formed a program of economic development of Yasinovataya for 2020. Special attention was paid to health care, education, industry and other activities that will allow the town to dynamically develop. This year we have managed to implement eight projects, among which the construction of children’s playgrounds, the formation of the city beach and the Lipki park,” mayor of Yasinovataya Dmitry Shevchenko commented.

And according to the mayor of Yenakiyevo, the development program of his city is aimed at improving the welfare of residents and restoration of the infrastructure, which has been affected by the Ukrainian aggression. “We are resuming the operation of the enterprises that stopped their work both in wartime and before the war. For example, our dairy has started to make its products. Also, jointly with the Ministry of Agro-Industrial Policy and Food, we want to open a farm and arrange a closed cycle of dairy production,” Roman Khramenkov said.
