Today, on January 10, Solovyanenko Donetsk State Opera and Ballet Academic Theater hosted an entertainment for gifted children from all over the territory of the Republic at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture with backing from the DPR Government. According to a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, all the children got sweets after the event ended.
“Support and care for gifted children is the basis of the state policy of our Republic. Traditionally, during the New Year school holidays, Donbass Opera receives children from all cities, towns and districts of our state who achieved certain success in education, sports and creative work at the end of the last semester. Undoubtedly, our task is to support them and give an incentive for their further development.
Each relevant ministry has a database of gifted children who participated in various contests, academic competitions, festivals and achieved success. All of them have been invited today to a festive event, after which they will get sweets from the DPR Government,” DPR Deputy Minister for Culture Vera Krokhmalyuk said.
An entertainment featuring songs, dances and contests was arranged for children at the party. 750 children, who achieved success in education, sports and culture, visited the festive event.
