Ukrainian officials’ statements have proved once again that even supreme authorities of Ukraine have no coherence in the working out, making and implementation of political decisions, DPR People’s Council Deputy Oleg Onopko said in an interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website.

“President Zelenski fails to make even his own subordinates comply with his demands when calling for them to quit “manipulations, speculations and conspiracy theories” about what happened in Iran.

National Security and Defense Council’s secretary Danilov declares at once four versions why the plane crashed, including the mythical “Russian connection”. Such behavior can be regarded either as an attempt to once again promote themselves through the human tragedy, or as an act of information warfare against Russia, which the Ukrainian president allegedly has no hand in.

The latter suggestion seems to me to be the most likely one. Just like under president Poroshenko, Ukraine still blames Russia and the Russian people for all its problems. At the same time, Zelensky is trying in every possible way to wage his information war against Russia by proxy. Under these circumstances, any “investigations” only serve as proof-points for Kiev to strengthen the anti-Russian rhetoric. And if in the case of the Iranian plane they are conducted in the same way as the “investigation” into the MH-17 tragedy, then we will face another groundless accusation, a cascade of lies and propaganda,” the deputy noted.
