In Donetsk on January 14, DPR Youth Parliament members talked with Russian athlete Mariana Naumova, the four-time world champion in powerlifting among juniors and honored master of sports in the DPR. According to a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, they discussed the matters of further cooperation and implementation of joint projects during the meeting, everyone also shared their experience in public activity.
“We have not met with Mariana before. We would like to know how the person lives, what she does. That is why we consider today’s opportunity wonderful, we have a lot to talk about with her. We wanted to share with Mariana our experience of the Youth Parliament’s activity for 2019б what we have already achieved, what proposals and groundwork we have. We very much hope that she will share her experience. We will continue to work both on the promotion of sports and youth policy. We hope to establish friendly relations with our guest,” deputy chairperson of the DPR Youth Parliament Yulia Soldatova stressed.
According to Mariana Naumova, who is also a member of the Youth Parliament and Public Chamber in Khimki urban district of Moscow, she is very interested in communicating with young parliamentarians of our Republic. The athlete told about her experience in public activity, particularly, in the field of environmental protection.
“I conduct sports events in schools. I hope for cooperation as part of the Youth Parliament’s implementation of projects in Donbass,” the famous Russian athlete summarized.
