Today, on January 21, Chairman of the DPR Youth Parliament Vladislav Pogorely held a briefing in Donetsk, where he spoke about the participation of the DPR delegation in the events dedicated to the 366th anniversary of the Pereyaslav Council, a correspondent of the DPR Official Website reports.
“On January 18, Simferopol hosted celebrations dedicated to the 366th anniversary of the Pereyaslav Council. Several hundred people participated in the rally, following its results they adopted a Resolution on the readiness of all present to struggle for the restoration of the historical justice and reunion of the Russian world,” Vladislav Pogorely told.
The parliamentarian also noted that the DPR Youth Parliament had met with the Youth Parliament affiliated with the State Council of the Republic of Crimea as part of the visit.
“We discussed the issues of patriotic education and promotion of traditional cultural values. Young people now have access to a lot of information they get from the Internet. And this is sometimes fraught with the alteration of notions and distortion of historical facts. That is why my colleagues from the Crimea and I are preparing projects in the field of patriotic education and promotion of traditional values,” Vladislav Pogorely concluded.
