The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic received one report on detention this week. In January 2020, the armed forces of Ukraine detained a man born in 1991, the Ombudsperson’s press service reports.

According to recent reports, as of January 31, the Ukrainian side detains about 149 people, information on whom is missing or is being specified.

During this period, no missing persons were reported to the Human Rights Commissioner’s Office.

As of January 31, 465 people are on the list of the missing. They might also be detained by Ukraine.
