The Donetsk People’s Republic complies with all its commitments so that another meeting in the Normandy Format could take place. Whether this meeting will happen depends on Ukraine, DPR Commissioner for Human Rights Darya Morozova stated in an interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website.

“Everything now depends on whether Ukraine fulfills the agreements signed at the previous meeting in Paris. For our part, we stand ready, since we seek productive work in this area,” Darya Morozova said.

The Ombudsperson also believes that the conflict in Donbass will not end until Ukraine comes to terms with the people’s republics.

“Back in 2014, the International Committee of the Red Cross recognized the conflict in Donbass as internal, which is synonymic with civil war. That is, there are two parties to this conflict: Ukraine and Donbass. Therefore, the Ukrainian government should first come to terms with the people of Donbass. No intermediaries will be able to end the war until our demands are listened to and fulfilled,” Darya Morozova claimed.
