The policy pursued by the current president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, is geared against the people of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the situation in Donbass continues to aggravate. In an exclusive interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, DPR People’s Council deputy Elena Shishkina commented on the statements on the need to tighten the plan for the deportation of Donbass people.

“The plan for the deportation of the Donbass people emerged during the election campaign of Zelensky, who came to power as president of the war and continues Poroshenko’s policy. Thus, according to the plan, DPR citizens should be placed in filtration camps, leave the territory of their homeland and not speak their native Russian language,” Elena Shishkina said.

According to the deputy, the policy pursued by the leadership of Ukraine, consisting of lies and brutal treatment of the DPR citizens, is geared against the people of Donbass.

“Ukraine does not comply with the Minsk Agreements, interprets them in its own way, adding new non-existent paragraphs, clarifying them with the help of questionable experts, keeps shelling the territory of Donbass. In addition to that, the bill on the payment of pensions and social benefits to residents of the DPR and LPR was rejected,” the speaker commented.

She also added that Zelensky’s policy is aimed at implementing a bloodier scenario for the residents of Donbass than it was under Poroshenko’s rule.
